Help Potter’s Farm

Thrive in 2025

Dear Friends of the Farm:

We are calling on your support!

In the Summer of 2024, Potter’s Farm hired a new caretaker.

By Autumn, we had a team of three.

Megan, Dane, and Daniel have been deeply inspired by the land and the vision of Potter’s Farm. They have embarked on a series of renovation and transformation projects to bring renewed love, care, and energy to this special place.

We need your help to continue these incredible efforts.

What We've Done So Far

〰️

What We've Done So Far 〰️

August

Daniel power washes the barn, farmhouse, cabin, and icehouse.

September

Daniel, Lance & Dane paint and stain the farmhouse, cabin, and icehouse.

October

Gardens are uncovered and prepped for winter.

Farmhouse basement is emptied and power-washed, including the nearly full cistern. Every item is carefully removed, cleaned, and placed into a moving van for safekeeping.

1,000 buckets of sand/soil are removed from the basement. The chimney is dismantled, and hundreds of bricks are carried out to be stored in the machine shop. Roy helps with plumbing upgrades. Mark helps with soil removal and preparation for the slab.

December

Barn receives the deep clean treatment: everything is emptied from the back and carefully moved to the front in preparation for interior power washing and repairs.

Icehouse and Yurt basement receive deep cleaning.

January

We helped pour nearly 20 cubic yards of concrete to create a beautiful slab in the farmhouse basement. Megan and Dane moved dozens of wheelbarrows while Daniel assisted in setting and directing the flow of operations. Sid and Max did the technical slab work. The basement looks & feels amazing!

Where You Come In

  • Offer your time, skills, or materials

We could really use on-the-ground support in the big projects we have coming up late-winter and spring. You are welcome to stay in the farmhouse and support in any of the following:

Yurt Basement (insulation, sheet rock, mudding, painting)

Barn Clean-up (removing old wood, power-washing)

    Plumbing & Electricity

    Carpentry

  • Share a financial gift

Your dollars are deeply appreciated! We are working to make sure all the spaces are sustainable for years to come. These 100-year old spaces are needing extra TLC and a steady stream of monetary energy to get them humming for hosting sacred events and community offerings.

As of February 2025, your funds will be directed toward utilities upgrades/repairs, materials, contractor labor, and hopeful kitchen upgrades. We would also love to support our caretakers, who have been volunteering most of their hours, as well as secure funding for greater outreach and education.

Potter’s Farm, Inc. is a non profit 501(c)(3) retreat center.
Your tax-deductible contributions support this land.

Thank you to our Potter’s Farm Transformation Team for your loving efforts!
