Dreaming 2024 Awake!
The Potter’s Farm Board is dreaming of new events and calling back all our past favorites (which is every one of course!!) to come enjoy and appreciate all the land has to offer. Contact us to book your event if you are considering hosting an event or ceremony. Our events coordinator, Raven Bailey, will be happy to discuss ideas and offer support. All possibilities await!
In the final quarter of 2023, the Farm grew quiet with visitors but vibrant with colors and projects to prepare for winter. Find out what we’ve been up to.

After six months of living at Potter’s Farm, our adventurous caretakers Taylor and Clara got married in October 2023! In addition to planning a wedding, they kept up with the weekly requirements of keeping the Farm fresh and ready for visitors. The routine maintenance of the Farm is ever present: touch up painting, deep cleaning, window cleaning/repair, tree trimming, path clearing, wood crib stocking, and winterizing the Farmhouse to say the least. To say the most, we are grateful for these two wonderful beings who love the Farm as much as we do!

This year, a wonderful variety of events have helped create a diversity of income. Generous donations last year and a refinance of the mortgage ledThank you to all our donors and contributors of 2023 to a needed re-skinning of the yurt and another step in improving the flow of water to limit impacts to the barn and driveway. We ended 2023 on budget. Thank you to all our donors and contributors of 2023!
We are grateful for our Supportive Sustaining Donors! Your monthly contributions, no matter the amount, are helpful. If you are interested in becoming a Sustainer, set up your donation at Supportive Sustainer Donation.

Four of us continue to serve the operations of Potter’s Farm. What does that entail beyond serving as officers of the non-profit?
Buildings and Land
The drive, the woods, the paths and the structures need regular upkeep. Some things our caretakers can do. We also hire outside help and our community helps during Love the Farm.
Caretaker Liaison
Meet monthly with caretakers to discuss projects and wish list for improvements.
Communication
Our newsletter, View from the Meadow, is one of our tools to let you all know what’s happening here at the farm. We also send out emails periodically for the newsletter and other events here at the farm.
Event Coordinator
It’s no small thing to track events to share our beautiful space at the Farm.
Monthly Meetings
We meet once a month to keep abreast of any issues that may arise and need our attention.
Neighbor Liaison
Periodically, we let neighbors know about specific events or issues that may have an impact.
Website
Look for our revamped website in 2024! Regular care is needed to keep events updated. -
Do you love Social Media? We would love to increase our reach by enhancing our social media efforts. You can contribute to the Farm with a few hours of your talent and expertise!
What about Web work? We know there are many talented people in this community with these skills. We are about to rebuild our website. A few hours of your time to contribute to the effort would be fantastic.
If you feel called to connect more with your community by sharing your communication talents, please contact or Communication Point, Raven Bailey.
